The bar chart shows the study habits of people in Britain in three periods and whether they were studying full-time or part-time.
It is clear from the chart that at the beginning of the 70s, men dominated women in part-time education. But this trend got changed by the 90s when more women started doing part-time education. When it comes to full-time studies, there is an increase in the number of people doing further education from the 70s to the 90s.
From the first chart, a slight decrease can be observed in the number of men did part-time education from the 70s to 90s, which are 1000000 and 900000 respectively. However, this is not the case with full-time education, where a growth from 100000 to 250000 occurred.
There is a rise in the number of women who did both further educations. Women who did part-time at the beginning of the 70s were around 700000, later increased around 1100000 by the 90s. Those who did full-time education were less than 100000 in the 70s and later rose around 200000 by the 90s.
