Last year you went on a camping tour with your family. A friend has contacted you about the your and asked you whether you would recommend it.
Write a letter your friend about the trip. In your letter
• say where you went and how you travelled
• describe the place and the accommodation
• suggest why he/she should go on this holiday
Dear Nazlı,
I was great to get your letter and hear you are interested in camping tour. I would strongly recommend to go to camping tour which I made with my family last year. We decided to join camping tour in Kakadu National Park, largest national park in Australia.
I would mention about transportation to go there. We flew to Darwin at first. It took about 4 hours from Melbourne. After flight, we rented four-wheel drive vehicle because of rough terrain along the road on which driving took one hour.
At the end of journey, we said hello to endless greenery. There is a river flowing through the forest but it is dangerous and forbidden to swim in this river because it is the habitat of crocodiles. In addition, Kakadu is the home to more than a third of Australia’s bird species. We watched and photographed the birds by participating in many activities during Kakadu Bird Week.
I would like to point out that there is no need to worry about accommodation because there are many alternatives. We thought that we would be out all day to take part in activities so we rented cabins with bunk beds. Price includes breakfast and dinner as well.
I suggest you not postpone this holiday plan next year. You should start to holiday plan immediately. The main reason you should join camping tour this year is that wilderness may change due to global warming and poaching. At the same time, not only local experts and scientist but also individuals are eager to attend Bird Week so prices may rise next year.
Have fun.
Lots of love.
