A breakdown of the way of producing the chocolate and the percentage of the chocolate’s price is presented in the map and diagram.
At the five stages in production of chocolate, cocoa is ground then sent to cocoa liquor, whereas some of them are being a waste. Afterwards, cocoa liquor is then pressed and some of them are transported to industrial chocolate. It can be seen that the method of production differs in this stage, where after being pressed, they are transmitted to cocoa butter and cocoa powder. In this stage, both of sugar and cocoa butter are directed to industrial chocolate, and then they are produced as chocolate bar, while cocoa powder is delivered to food industry.
The price of chocolate bar is divided into five different domains, where cost of ingredients and overheads shows a dominance portion, reaching to just over a third more than supermarket which reach just under a third. On the other hand, there is only a minority number in price of chocolate from tax and Chocolate Company, which was as similar as farmer gained just under a very small number.
Overall, the producing of chocolate is made by long process, which is originally from cocoa, and then it is subordinated in detail part before having complex process to produce chocolate bar.
