Some students prefer classes with frequent discussions between the professor and the students with almost no lectures. Other students prefer classes with many lectures and almost no discussions. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Education has been an essential part of debates among all people, and People hold different opinions toward their desirable educational method. While some students prefer to attend classes with fewer discussions and more lectures, I personaly contend that being in classes with more discussions is more beneficial. In what follows, I will elaborate on my viewpoint and provide details to illustrate my perspective.
First and foremost, I believe that discussions help students to learn more. It helps them to understand the problems and solutions in a deeper way, and therefore, it is a better way to study. Besides, when students discuss a problem they understand the problem from different perspectives and it helps them to broaden their horizon. My own personal experience is a compelling example of this. When I was a high school student I attended a history class, which was a free discussion class. Half of the class teacher told a topic and some details about the historical events around that topic, and for the rest of the class, we discussed the short term and long term results. The class provided me with a lot of information about historical events, and also it helped me to think about these events from different perspectives since we were required to talk about the results and long term effects. In contrast, last year I attended another history course which was consist of only lectures, and therefore not only was it boring, but also I remember nothing of the topics and lessons. This example demonstrates how discussion helps student to learn in a more meaningful manner.
Furthermore, Discussions help students to improve their social skills. When students are talking about something in class, it is the best place for them to practice communication skills since the teacher can help them and provide them with interesting topics to discuss. Take a personal experience as an example. I started high school as a shy student, and I was an introverted person. As a result, it was very hard for me to make friends and most of the time I preferred to be alone rather than hang out with friends. As I mentioned in the above paragraph, I was very lucky to attend a free discussion class, which was a turning point in my life. To be more specific, Because of the talks and discussions in the class I improved my social and communicational skills and as a result, I made some friends. Had I not attended such a class I would not be able to make friends.
In conclusion, I believe that classes with frequent discussions are more beneficial for students. This is because discussions help students to learn more and become deeper and because It helps them to improve their social skills.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
