process
The flow-chart describes different stages of an igloo-making process.
As can be seen from the process, there are four big stages to be made in order to finish it, beginning from choosing hard-packed snow to cutting ventilation holes inside the wall/roof.
The first step involves building a basement, on a snow ground, hard-packed snow is determined. Next, these chosen snow is cut by snow saw, resulting in large blocks which are to make a basement. The blocks’ edges are then further smooth by snow saw again.
Second, from the round-shaped basement, snow are placed continuously on until reaching a suitable height.
The next step involves covering the Igloo, including an entrance created by digging a hole below the snow wall, together with the bigger block which is placed on the top of the Igloo as way to open it.
In the next step, igloo is finished while making further smooth, while the outside crevices is packed with further snow, the inside is carefully smoothed by hand. A door is built right upon the holes after that, followed by the covering of hole with snow blocks. At the end, you must cut ventilation holes inside the wall to finish it.
