You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter
• say where you think you left the papers
• explain why they are so important
• tell the manager what you want him/her to do
Write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to bring to your notice that I forgot some important documents at your hotel “The Meridian”. I hope that once you will find the papers you will inform me.
I booked a room in your hotel from 22nd September to 23rd September for a conference meeting organised by my company Mckinsey at the Business hall on 23rd September. I was staying in room number 624 and after attending the meeting I checked out from the hotel on 24th September. When I arrived to Delhi, I realised that I left some critical documents in the hotel room, perhaps in the drawer on the left side of the bed. They are placed in blue folder printed with the name Prabhpreet Kaur on the top.
The official papers are very critical for the company as they contain confidential financial data, hard copy of the presentation and some notes that I registered during the conference. If those documents are misplaced the company will suffer huge losses and it will also affect my job position.
I will be obliged if you could kindly check the room thoroughly and once you discover the documents please give me call at 7844546125. I will personally collect those documents from you.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon
Yours Sincerely
Prabhpreet Kaur
