The maps below illustrate the downtown of a small town called Islip as it is present and after development. A major establishment has been done especially to the road circuit. Overall, many sectors have been added to the plan after development.
At the present time, Islip town has two sided shops of the horizontal main road shape, a country side to the north and housing to the south. If you go from west to east there is a cross road that derives you to a school in the town. But if you go from east to west the other cross road leads to a park.
However, as the development plan shows a huge difference in the structure of the main road, from a horizontal shape to a circular one called: Dual Carriageway. At the center, new sectors were established like the bus station, shopping centers and car park. A pedestrian passage is visible with a new housing on the north east.
At the end, the new plan for development consists of couple of new sections that are sufficient for the local people and tourists.
