Essay topics:

You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel. Write a letter to the manager of the hotel.

In your letter:

say where you think you left the papers.

explain why they are so important.

tell the manager what you want him/her to do.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to let you know that I had left my important document there. I would like to request you to get those documents and keep it safe with you. I can collect it from you soon.

You will find the documents in the locker in the room which I stayed. On 3rd October, I stayed at your hotel, my reservation number was A3945 and room number was 203. I had a flight to catch next day early morning, I clearly remember keeping it in the locker inside the cupboard before going to bed. Next morning, I woke up late and, in that hurry, unfortunately, I forgot to take the folder from the locker.

The folder consists of my graduation certificate, mark list and transcript. I came to Mangalore to get it attested from the university chancellor. These documents are highly important to me.

Could you please find those documents and inform me, I will come and collect it tomorrow. My contact number is 224534564. It would be better if you keep it with you.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Dana
