The graph below shows the number of university graduates in Canada from 1992 to 2007.
The line graph illustrates the number of university output student of men and women in Canada between 1992 to 2007.
Overall, women student made up the highest number of graduates throughout the period where male graduates are always below the female's graduates. Both male and female pass-outs had some fluctuations between the period.
On the one hand, in 1992 the number of female and male pass-outs of university were nearly 98,000 and 70,000 respectively. Both female and male graduates number increased gradually until 1995 (around 105,000 and 86,000 approximately). In the mean time, the number of graduates in the university started declining from 1995 to 1998 and in 1998 the number of female and male graduates were nearest to 100,000 and 72,000.
On the other hand, female pass-outs showed a significant rise from 1998 onwards whereas male pass-outs had some fluctuations. During the year 2000 - 2004, females graduates experienced a rapid rose to more than 25% and continue with a gradual increase to nearest to 150,000 at the end of the year. The male graduates had some variation in the graph from 1992 to 2001 and in 2001 it had around 74,000 of male graduates and afterwards in the graph had steady rose to 85,000 in the year 2004. At the end of the year, it rose to 95,000 and it is the highest number of male graduates through out period.
