Following a same trend, approximately half of water in North America is utilized in industry, remaining a 39 percent for agriculture and 13 percent for domestic requirement.
Turning to rest of description, in a stark contrast, agriculture has the pivot role to play in water consumption. The rest of the districts –namely Central, South America, Africa, and South East Asia more than 70 percent of water are dedicated to farming. In Africa, the contribution of consumed water for household purposes is responsible less than 10%, while that of water is two-fold greater in South East Asia.
