The first picture shows the layout of an art gallery, and the second picture describes the proposal plan of rebuild this gallery.
According to the pictures, the lobby and the office are planned to tear down in order to give space for education are and store plan. Thus, due to the elimination of the lobby, visitors will access the permanent exhibition through the entrance next to the Parkinson court which will be still remained. The temporary exhibition will be rebuilt and connect to the permanent exhibition as an unite space in the central of the building. There is also a plan to expand the gallery to the west by harnessing the unused land next by the current permanent exhibition to erect new special exhibition and also the new exhibition store in the southwest of the gallery.
The changes of the layout lead to the adjust of car park areas and entrances, in particular, the parking area now is located in the east of the building will be demolished. There will have new door to access the exhibition store from the Parkinson court, new entrance between the permanent and special exhibition.
