Global warming

Global warming

The reading disagrees with the hypothesis that man is to be blamed for the current global warming we are experimenting. The lecturer cast doubts in all the author's claims regarding his ideas on global warming as a naturally occurring phenomenon. I will explain in this essay how the lecturer disagrees with the reading.

First, the lecturer contradicts the author regarding the idea that global warming is caused by the release of co2 from carbon sinks that have to occur naturally on Earth from the last 250.000 years. The lady explained that the carbon Isotope from carbon sinks is different from the carbon we use as fossil fuels, and not stating this is just one way how certain scientists bend information to suits they need.

Computer models do not only measure the GMST, but they also have much broader use in predicting future global temperatures. All computer models project an increase in global temperatures in the near future. Burning fuels account for 85% of the energy use, where do you think all that co2 ends up? In the atmosphere.

Lastly, regarding the fact that water vapor is the most abundant global warming gas that there is out there. The lecture explains that water vapor is like gasoline, it needs the smoking gun, in this case, the co2. it would be incorrect to blame water vapor as a cause for global warming
