The maps compare Islip downtown for the time being and it's future layout because there is fundamental plan to change this area in order to be more attractive and modern.
Overall, what Stands out is that this area will undergo significant changes in various ways such as brings new facilities and upgrade road condition.
As can be seen, dual carriageway will be constructed and we'll change cityscape which surrounds ISliptown center, while it has just a main road at the moment, seprated this region into northern part with some shops and southern part with another shops together with vast housing area and a big park. Moreover, a special road for school in the northwest.
The future plan comprises marketable modifications. main road will become pedestrian precincts. Although southern part of pedestrian area will remain the same, northern shops will turn into bus station, shopping centre, car park and new housing area next to the car park in the northeast of the future plan. In addition, park is remained at the same location aswell as school but park will be shrunk. housing area in the south of plan is divided into two separate part by southern part of dual carriageway.
