Essay topics:

The charts show average levels of participation in education and the highest education level of adults from 2000 to 2010 in Singapore.

The bar chart reports how many years in average that Singapore people studied at school, and the pie charts compare the percentages of the highest qualification of adults in this country between 2000 and 2010.
Overall, while Singapore females always spent less time at school in comparison to males, people in Singapore had an increasing number of years in the education system during the period shown. Moreover, among Singapore adults, although over 80% acquired high school qualification or under in 2000, just nearly two-thirds honoured university or master qualification in 2010.
In 2000, adult females averagely had 8 years in school and that figure for males was 9. While the number of years at school for females remained unchanged until 2004, the time for males unceasingly increased during 10 years. In 2010, adult males involved in the school in around 12 years, 4 years longer than females did.

Meanwhile, there was 32.13% of adults completed highschool without attending tertiary education. However, a radical change witnessed in 2010, whereby 30.31% and 32.93% of Singapore adults honoured the highest level as university and master degrees. Other qualifications accounted for lower percentages in Singapore society, at about 19%, 15% and 2%.
