The diagram below shows how ethanol fuel is produced from corn.
The given diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing liquid ethanol fuel from corn.
Overall, the process consists of 9 stages which is from corn as a raw material and to the transporting of purified ethanol.
First of all, corn comes as main raw material and puts in to sorting and then in to milling stage. After that, milled corn is cooking for 4 hours with added water and moved to fermenting for 48 hours which is 4 days, until the cooked corn become ethanol chemical. Then it moved to separation stage.
In the separating stage, it separate liquid ethanol from fermented corn and leftover is called as by-product. Then separated liquid ethanol moved in to purifying stage which takes another 5 hours to purify liquid ethanol fuel and moved to sorting. Finally, after purified ethanol fuel is sorted out, it moves to transporting stage which transport the liquid ethanol fuel.
