The purpose of visit is some reasons, that is holiday, business, visited to friends and relatives and other reasons. The second chart explain about their destinations over the same period. The destinations of visits abroad by UK Residents in the same region is Western Europe, North America and Other areas.
The first chart shows the main purpose of travel is for holiday. In 1994 shows 15.246 people travelled for holiday. In 1995 shows 14.896 people travelled for holiday also, until in 1998. The first chart shows increasing of holiday purposed in every year. This shows amount 2000 people travelled for holiday. And in another table shows the other purpose of travelled is for business and visited to friends and relatives that in every year from 1994-1998 had increased visitors to travelled in this purpose.
The second cart shows the destination of visits abroad. The destination is in Western Europe, North America and others area. In 1994 shows that western Europe is the favorite destination than North America and Other areas until 1998. In 1994, 19.371 visitors had visited Western Europe and this always had increase visitors until 24.519 visitors. In North America had increased visitors also in every year, that is 919 visitors in 1994 and 1823 visitors in 1998. This shows significant increasing in every year at that time.
The main purpose and the favorite destination of tourist are for holiday and Western Europe. The chart shows increasing tourist in every year in 1994-1998.
