Overall, couple and dependent children tend to take part in volunteering in preference to others. They often support for coach, instructor or teacher.
In 2010, the number of volunteers of couple and dependent children reached a peak at 49.8% and was nearly double compared to couple with no dependent children. Whereas, the figure of one parent/lone person and other households were equivalent, were 10.9% and 12.4%.
In term of five different types of jobs, most volunteers have a tendency to help coach, instructor or teacher and its figure was 206,000. On contrast, the number of helpers for medical support or other was 62,700 and less than its figure for referee or umpire was 35,600. The quantity of volunteers for scorer or timekeeper and committee member or administrator were same.
