The graph and table below give information about water use worldwide and water consumption in two different countries.
The given line graph depicts the worldwide utilization of water in three different sectors in 19th century as well as the table represents the consumption of water in the year of 2000 in Brazil and Congo by farming and its population.
It can be seen that the farming sector was on the top to use water as a source from 1900 to 2000. However, water utilization by industries and people was lesser than agricultural use in the given time period. In 1900, industrial use and domestic use was almost same which is around 50 km3, while agriculture use was about more than ten times. Moreover, water use in industrial area and domestic use increased slightly till 2000, it is accounted by approximately 250 km3 and 1050 km3 respectively. Whereas, farming sector show a considerable changes in water usability in 2000 which is picked at 3000 km3.
In the term of water consumption in Brazil and Congo, the eye catching point is that the number of people in Brazil was very higher than Congo which is 176 millions while Congo had 5.2 millions population in the year of 2000. While, farming land area was larger in Brazil than the land area of irrigation in Congo. in Brazil, 359 m3 water consumed by a person while 8 m3 in Congo.
Overall, it is clear that the water was in very high use for agriculture and used by Brazil.
