From the line graph, it is evident that the birth rate commenced 20 thousand in 1901 then it modestly increased over the given figure. The birth rate fluctuated upward before growing considerably and hitting the highest point at 66 thousand in 1961. The ratio of birth experienced a gradual decrease at the end of the given period of in after dropping considerably around at 50 thousand in 1981.
