The brick manufacturing process
The process diagram indicates the various steps that are followed by the building industry in order to produce bricks.
First of all, the digger is used to extract pure clay from the earth. Then, clay is turned into metal grid which is inserted into the roller. Following that, sand and water are blended with the mixture. The next step is either to put the mixture in the mould or to insert the mixture into the wire cutter. Both machines result in the production of bricks. Then, the bricks are inserted into the drying oven,, for the next 24 to 48 hours. After that, they are put into different kilns, to be heated in various temperatures each time; first in a moderate heat at about 200°C to 980°C and then at higher levels from 870°C to 1300°C. Before the packaging procedure, thebricks remain into the cooling chamber until 48 to 72 hours. Finally the bricks are packed into large packets which are distributed all over the world.
