Single Stream Recycling
The diagram provides information recycled items are sorted in the single-stream recycling system. They all are mixed together and sorted by a machine. Sorting process will separate several things from the recycled items.
First, unload all items that are collected in a truck to a conveyor belt. As all things are on the conveyor, large stuffs are taken. Next stage is screening process to put away cardboard and paper. After that stuffs clear from large thing, cardboard and paper, then take away steel cans from the recycled items by using magnetism. After that processes, next is to remove and crush glass bottles, so that pure plastics will remain the end stuff that what we want. Finally the last process is to sort plastics type to box.
In conclude, there are seven stages to sorted plastic type to box from mixed recycling stuff. All processes aim to take away and remove all stuff except plastics.
