The line graph illustrates the percentage of UK people going to the cinema over a period of 20 years.
Overall, cinema attendance of all age group declined from 1995 to 2000 and had a gradual climb again for the following 10 years
In 1990, the number of the aged 14-24 had the lowest attendance, with 15% of the total group, whereas the group aged 44-54 was the highest, at over 35%. There was a slight increase in all age group over the next 5 years by 1%-5%, especially the percentage of age group 24-34 rised by nearly 5%
From 1995 to 2000, cinema attendance in the UK experienced a moderate drop at all age group by under 5%. However, they went up significantly again approximately by over 5% and the biggest rise was seen in group aged 24-34 from 22% to 32%. It then leveled off from 2005 to 2010, in comparison with a slight growth in other groups
