The chart below shows information about fuel used in the transport sector in different countries in Europe, compared to the EU average, in 2009 and 2010.
The bar chart compares six EU countries in terms of changes in the propotion of fuel used in transport field from 2009 to 2010.
Overall, it is immediately obvious that the amount of fuel used with the aim of transportation in 2020 was greater than that in 2009 and vice versa to the rest except for Austria. In addition, EU average consumed fuel higher compared to each land apart from Slovakia in both two years and Austria in 2020.
To commence with, the propotion of fossil fuel was prone to increase in three countries, namely Italy, France and Greece, nevertheless the differences were insignificant and were lower than average percentage. To be more detalied, Greece, consuming the lowest fossil fuel among six lands, went up from over one percentage to two percentages. Similarly, the others nations rose by nearly one percentage.
By contrast, Slovakia and Spain decreased utilizing fuel in transport by aproximately two percentages and under one percentage respectively. Although Slovakia went down significantly from nearly 9% to 6,5%, it ranked the first in both two years and was much higher than EU average. Finally, Autria was unchanged with more than 5% over the course of one year.
