The supplied line graph delineats data concerning birth and death rates inNew Yealand over a period of 200 years starting from 1901 to 2101.
As an overall trend, it is clear that the birth rate is much higher than the death one. However, in 2041, the position will be reversed, death rate is forecasted to outperform the birth one.
A closer look at the graph reveals that the birth rate, which commenced at around 20, is twice as much as the death one. Subsequently, it significanty fluctuated in diffrent years and rapid ups and downs could be observed from 1901 to 1941 then reach the vertext at well over 60 afterwards in 1961.However, the rate continued to oscillate from 50 to 65 withing a time span of 60 years and it is expected to decline notably to around 45 births at the end of the period.
When it comes to the motality rate, it started below 10 and went through a period of mild volatility in the next century. Following that it tend to soar, which is expected to overtake the position of birth just below 50 in 2041 before remaining almost static at well under 60 till the end of the given time span.
