The graph below shows trends in US meat and poultry consumption.

The line graph illustrates meat and poultry consumption in pounds per person, namely Beef, Pork, Broilers, and Turkey in the USA between 1955 and 2012.
It is clear that (Overall,) Beef was so/by far the highest consumption throughout the given period of time. Over this span of 45 years, the consumption of beef and pork all decreased while the consumption of Broilers and Turkey both dramatically rose.
The biggest consumption in 1977 was Beef (about 90 pounds per capita was consumed at this time) while no numbers of utilize the Broiler and Turkey. The amount of Pork which was eaten has remained almost constant approximately 47 pounds per person from 1955 and 1977.
From 1977 to 2012, Beef consumption was fluctuated before experiencing a sharp decline of approximately 53 pounds per person in 2012. In the other hand, Broilers’s and Turkey’s consumption saw a contrast tendency. The figure for using Turkey grew significantly during the period of 45 years. By the end of 2012, Broilers consumption soared to 57 pounds per capita which was the highest figure of the graph.
