Some working parents think childcare centre can provide their children best care, while others think family members such as grandma will be experienced and can give children best care. Discuss both views and state your own opinion.
The child-raising has been a controversial issue in the modern society.Although there are some arguments in favor of relative care, I would rather give preference to childcare centre.
Advocates of relative care believe that this one-on-one care provide a safe and comfortable environment for children to relax.Children will possibly have a sense of isolation once being away from relatives since young children tend to express intimacy to those they trust and are familiar with. And more importantly, young children have difficulty in expressing what they need, but grandparents can precisely capture the slight feelings of children and offer persistent and considerate care.Another benefit of this is that it can reduce economic burden imposed on average dual-income family as having grandparents to be the caretaker is normally free of charge. As a result, family could save more deposit and use it for other purpose.
Whereas, on the flip side, some people hold the belief that childcare center can assume the role of caregiver. The major reason for this is that childcare center can provide more professional service, guaranteeing both physical and mental health of children.Majority of nursery homes are inspected for being licensing purpose so security is not an issue parents need to worry about.Furthermore, by playing with peers, children can learn how to deal with others and improve their social skills which is better compared to the one-to-one counterpart. In comparison, if children were taken care of by grandparents, kids would likely to be spoilt.
To encapsulate, I do accept the advantages of having grandparents as tender, but childcare center is a better place where they can acquire the capability of socialism and learn how to well-behaved.
