There is a public event coming up in your town. Write a letter to your friend who you think would be interested to take part in it.
In your letter
– Describe the event.
– Say why you think he/she would be interested.
– Suggest an arrangement to meet with him/her at the event.
Dear Sharon,
Hope to see a big smile on your face reading this as I got promoted as an Assistant Manager last week. And adding more fun to that, there is a Street Play Competition going to happen in my city Prince Edward Island in which I would surely want you to participate.
Let me describe everything about the competition as I read in the newspaper “Canada Times”.It is an event held for orphanage charity. It will be held for two days and there will be international groups participating in this. The competition results will be judged on the basis of multiple criteria such as acting, topic, voice pitch, etc. Though there is a nominal registration fee around 50CAD per team but we cannot ignore the cash prize amount which is 10,000CAD for that.
As I know you have been leading our college dramatics club and you have been participating in multiple acting competitions after that also . That’s when I thought you would be pretty much interested in this.
I would not disturb your personal space with your team members while the competition but once your play is over, I am not going to leave you for a single second. I will come to watch your play and after that we will hang around and then your stay is planned at my house. I am not going to spill any more beans here.
Waiting to see you soon.
Best Wishes
Nisha
