The line graph illustrates the number of graduates in Canada from 1992 to 2006. The number ranges from 60,000 students to 160,000 students.
An overview of the illustration would be that the data represents separate line for female and male students.
Firstly, for the year 1992 number of male students were slightly above 70,000. There can be number of students wrose to almost 80,000 between 1994 and 1996. However there was a downward trend until 2001, where there is a steady rise until reaching between 90,000 and 100,000 in 2006.
Secondly, number of female students started slightly below 10,000 in numbers in 1992 had a trend similar to that of male students. Whereas the drastic rise in numbers can be seen from 2002 till 2006. The numbers reached its peak close to 150,000. We can clearly see that though there were a few similarities between the lines, females had an earlier and a faster growth in their numbers.
