The provided data enumerates the households with cars proportion in a European nation from 1971 to 2001. As is observed, at the beginning Car was not predominant in the country, but by 1991 households with one car rose significantly.
As far as the details are concerned, Households with no car started at over 45% in 1971, 10 years after which the figure decreased slightly to 2%. With regard to the household that had cars, 35% has one car and 15% has two cars. While the former figure dropped 5% over the next decade, the later rose by about 10%.
It is also conspicuous that both households with one car and no car followed a similar trend in 1991 and 2001. Specifically, around 30% of families did not have a car and 47% of them had one in 1991, and these figures changed very slightly 10 years later. Meanwhile, the percentage of two-car ownership climbed from about 20% in 1991 to approximately 30% in 2001.
