The Graph below shows average carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions per person in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal between 1967 and 2007.
The line graph illustrated the amount of carbon dioxide emitted per person in 4 different countries between 1967 and 2007
As can be seen from the graph, in 2007 ,United Kingdom experienced the highest emission. Overall, a much larger amount of carbon dioxide had emitted by British and Itatians in comparison with people in Sweden and Portugal
In 1967, the amount of co2 that British emitted was 11 metric tone. The figures for Sweden, Itaty and Portugal were lower, at about 9,5,1 metric tonnes respectively. From 1967 to 1977, the amount of co2 that people in Sweden emitted increased sharply and reached it peak at 11 metric tonnes, merely the same with United Kingdom. The amount of co2 emission in both Itaty and Portugal increase to around 6 and 2 metric tonnes respectively
