You have recently moved to a different house.
Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter,
explain why you have moved
describe the new house
invite your friend to come and visit
Dear Cathie,
How are you? I am fine and hope to hear from you the same. Recently, I have moved to a new apartment and thought of inviting you for the weekend.
Initially, I was staying in my relative's house, and I was not comfortable over there. Moreover, that place was far away from my office, and my total travel time was more than two hours. Hence, my productivity at the office was also declining, as I was very fatigued. So, I took an apartment near my office and thus saved my travel time.
This apartment has a myriad of features; It is a 10 story building with 6 apartments on each floor. I took a 1 BHK apartment on the fourth floor. Besides, there is a supermarket on the ground floor, where I can pull in anything when I am running out of any item. On top of that, there is a video door system in all apartments. This ensures to identify any visitors before letting them inside. My apartment is fully furnished with all the basics things at home.
I was unable to invite you earlier, as I was staying in my relative's house. I would happy if you could come over here for the weekend and I am sure we will have great fun. Bye and take care.
Your friend,
Ranjini
