The given graph illustrates the number of people who graduate from university in Canada from 1992 to 2007 by gender.
It is clear to see that the figures for graduated females were much higher than graduated males. However, they shared the same pattern during 15-year period
In 1992, there were 100,000 women who graduated from the univisity while there were only 70,000 graduated males. From 1992 to 1995, both genders showed the gradual rise to 106,000 (females) and 78,000 (males) and then dropped in 1998. Between 1999 and 2001, although the number of graduated women increased slightly, the graduated males were frutuated.
From 2002, the number of females and males graduated from university started to increase and peaked at around 149,000 and 98,000 respectively in 2007. Thoughout the 15-year period, it is noticed that both genders had increasing trends, the number of females who graduated had a significant rise by about 50,000, males, on the other hand, only had roughly 28,000 more in 15 years.
