The illustrations show how chocolate is produced.
Information pertaining the manufacturing of chocolate is evinced in the provided pictogram. Overall, the whole procedure consists of ten disparate steps, initiating with the collection of ripe red pods from Cacao trees and terminating with the production of liquid chocolate.
Prima facie, it is lucid that initially, ripened red pods are accumulated from the Cacao trees, which are cultivated in South America, Africa and Indonesia. Once the harvesting process is done, these pods are crushed to extract white cocoa beans from it, whereafter these beans are placed inside a large container for fermentation process.
Fermented beans, afterwards, are scattered under the sun for desiccation. When these beans’ colour change to light brown, these are stowed in large bags, which are subsequently delivered to factory either via a train or lorry. Inside the factory, primarily, these are roasted at the temperature of 350 degree Celsius; meanwhile, the shade of beans alters to dark brown. Thereupon, crushing of beans is commenced with the assistance of apposite machinery after which, the outer shell is segregated from the beans.
At the culminating stage, the separated inner part is squeezed in another adequate apparatus whereby the liquid chocolate is finally generated which concludes the whole process.
