Overall, consumption of hamburgers and fried chicken experience a upward trend over the period and they were considerably more consumption among three kinds of foods at the end of the period. In contrast, Pizza consumption declined rapidly throughout the period, and it was the lowest consumption.
With regards to hamburgers and pizza, consumption of them started at 10 times eaten per year and 5 times eaten per year respectively. After 1988, the figure for eating hamburgers grew significantly to the peak at slightly over 70 times eaten per year in 2013, reaching its highest consumption at the end of the period. In addition, followed a similar rise trend, consumption of fried chicken skyrocketed to 60 times eaten per year in 2008, reaching a plateau until 2010, and then continued to increase steadily to around 62 times eaten per year in 2013.
In contrast, pizza consumption began at 60 times eaten per year in 1985. After that, there was a around 20 times eaten per year sharp drop by 2000. Starting at which point, it was outraced by the number of hamburgers and fried chicken. After 2000, it continued to decline rapidly, reaching the low point at 10 times eaten per year until 2013.
