At the present time, the population of some countries includes a relatively large number of young adults, compared with the number of older people. Do the advantages of this situation outweigh the disadvantages?
There are many factors contributing to the development of the country, and one of them which plays a vital role is the population. In various nations, young adults share a considerable proportion in their population, far higher than that of the elderly. Even though this trend may bring some problems requiring proper solutions, I believe the benefits are far more superior and will exert a positive impact on the status of those countries.
To begin with, a huge number of young adults may bring some problematic issues which need to be appropriately tackled. First and foremost, due to their lack of experience, they may not be able to perform tasks in their specific job with as high efficiency as the older generation can, leading to a deficit in terms of economic values. In simpler terms, products created by a young workforce are unlikely to be delicate and their quality may not meet the increasing demands of the international market. What is more, since young adults tend to follow a modern and vibrant lifestyle, they do not take traditional and cultural values for granted, and this could somewhat result in the loss of our unique identity which has been shaped over the past thousands of years.
On the other hand, there are many irreplaceable plus points that can only be created by younger people. Their endless creativity and innovative ideas are crucial parts of this increasingly developing world, as the young always try to break through their own limits to reach impossible things that we never dreamed of in the past. An obvious illustration of this is the invention of AI, which may be responsible for many important tasks in the near future. Additionally, their energetic and dynamic spirit will compensate for the lack of experience, judging by the fact that they will continuously learn from their mistakes and better themselves every day. Furthermore, governments can also cut down on the amount of investment on healthcare services, as more young adults mean that they don't put such a huge strain on medical facilities.
To sum up, even though there are both pros and cons to the situation, my viewpoint is that the advantages will totally outweigh the disadvantages. Young people will be the pioneers in all aspects of life, and together they will change the world into something that we have never seen before.
