Overall, the consumption of Lamb and Beef shows a downward trend while on the other hand, Chicken demands jumped significantly.
In 1979, Lamb and Chicken consumption was nearly similar at 150 grams per person per week. Moreover, demand of Lamb keep on declining and in 1994 it went up to 75 grams and in 2004 it reached almost 60 grams per person. On the contrary, citizens starts eating more chicken and hence in 1994 it went close to 225 grams. Thus, by the year 2004 it climbed roughly about 250 grams.
