The diagrams show changes in a student common room.
Given are two maps depicting the modifications of a student common room, from five years ago to date.
It is conspicuous that the layout of the accommodation is more likely to undergo some significant changes with the addition and relocation of some items to satisfy the student’s need.
In the uppermost part of the map, there were six objects in total arranged in order including a sink, a cupboard, two benches, a microwave and a refrigerator in 1996; however, a new microwave has been erected and replaced the old bench. In addition, there is a drinks machine located adjacent to the refrigerator.
In the past, four sets of round tables and desks were placed in the heart of the room. At the moment, two of them in the northwest and in the southeast have been replaced by a rectangular table set and a bench for laptops, respectively, while the others have remained unchanged. Another fundamental swing in the room has been the placement of three armchairs around a television that have taken the place of a closet in the right-hand corner.
