The chart below shows the results of a survey of people who visited four types of tourist attraction in Britain in 1999.

The pie chart reveals the information of proportion of visitation of four different types of tourist spots whereas the table breaks down the percentage of population who enjoyed different areas of theme parks in 1999 in the UK.
Overall, the survey showed most people choose to visit the theme parks, and museums and galleries while wildlife parks and zoos remained the lest visited area. However, for theme park, almost half of the people selected blackpool pleasure beach.
Given a close look at the pie chart, it can be observed that, theme parks and museums and galleries were attracted by two third of tourists and had only a difference of 1%. On the other hand, the percentage of the other two tourist attractions namely historic houses and monuments, and wildlife parks and zoos accounted for 16% and 9% respectively.
In regard to the table, blackpool pleasure beach was the major contributor among the theme parks, and attracted nearly half of the visitors, which was 47%. However, Chessington world of Adventures,and legoland windsor had the exactly same number of 10% people who enjoyed those place. Likewise, the remaining two theme parks ( Alton Towes and Pleasureland, Southport) showed almost similar results.
