Overall, while food was mostly bought by adults, children spent a majority of their income on music. Also, adults spent less of their whole income on the four items, compared to children

Food was the item, which adults purchased the most with 25% of their income including 14% of men and 39% of women, as opposed to videos which were bought by a mere of 1%. In terms of music, children spent most money on this item with 39%, while the figure for adults was relatively much lower with 5% and the same for both men and women

Children spent the least of their money on food with merely 10%, which was relatively low, compared to the expenditure of electronic equipment. This item was allocated to 23% of children’s expenses and the figure for boys was 13% higher than that of girls. However, it was much smaller in the same figure for adults, which was 5% including 10% and 1% for men and women
