The charts below show the results of a survey about what people of different age groups say makes them most happy.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The pie charts depict a survey of which the results point out the prevalence of happiness source age-wise.
Overall, both groups of people have some sources of happiness in common and reported that they felt a sense of exuberance mostly when acquiring career achievements, which crosses the 30% mark. However, there are also some differences in terms of what can make people under 30 happy compared to that of those over 30.
As per the chart, beside the aforementioned most-prevalent reason for happiness, these groups also have doing-hobbies as another major happiness source with 22% and 24% for under-30 and over-30 age range, respectively. A good appearance and financial security are somewhat in the same range in terms of creating joy with both being somewhere in the vicinity of 20%.
Noticeably, traveling and being with family is surprisingly less of a common way to reduce stress and generate dopamine as each only accounts for 14% to 15% of the aggregate proportion. Last but not least, other factors create less happiness for people under and over 30 with only 10% and 14% for each group.
