The diagrams below show the cycle of a lady bird and its anatomy.
The given two pictures illustrate the life cycle of a ladybug and its anatomy. Overall, in the first picture, we can see a process of how a lady bird develops from laying eggs to being an adult ladybug and in the second, what parts a lady bird consists of. As is observed from the given data, there are 4 stages of the life cycle and 8 main body parts of a ladybug.
The first stage of life cycle begins with laying eggs on leaves. After 2-5 days, the process progresses to larval stage, which is the second, and it remains in the larval stage for three weeks. Following this, the pupa stage, when the insect is in the stage of development between larva and adult, begins and it takes a week. During 7 days, the pupa develops and meatures into an adult lady bird.
When it comes to a ladybug's anatomy, a lady bird has a head with 2 antennas, eyes and a pronotum. As for its body, a ladybug has 6 legs and these legs are divided into two parts with three legs on each side. Its wings are covered with red elytra and an abdomen lies under these wings.
