The graph describes information on foreign visitors to three different areas of European country from 1987 to 2007.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the number of visitors to those three areas all rose considerably and there were some fluctuations during the period. Another interesting point is that the coast and the lake the mountain were the areas most visited by overseas tourists.
It can be seen that the coast started at 40 thousand foreigners visitors, the highest point in the first year. Then there was a negligible decrease to under 40 thousand in 1992. The coast saw a steady growth to reach the peak of 70 thousand, there was precisely the same amount of overseas visitors as the lake the mountain. After that, the figure of the coast plunged to 55 thousand foreign tourists in 2007. If we look at the lake and the mountain this trend was similar, having remained stable at 10 thousand visitors in 1987. Before going down by under 70 thousand in the last year, the figure grew gradually to 75 thousand in 2002.
By contrast, Series 3 began at less than half of the coast at 20 thousand. Subsequently, there was a slight fluctuation until 2002. However, this was followed by a steady increase to 35 thousand in 2007.
