In general, the typical life cycle of the honey bee consists of 4 stages, according to their morphology. In the first stage, the bee exists as an egg. Later on, it grows up to larva, pupa, and adult sequentially.
As shown in the diagram, the honey bee wheel of life initiates when the eggs are laid. Ordinarily, one reproductive period of the bee occurs in three days, and the females can lay one to two eggs inside the hives, which will take them about nine to ten days to hatch. During the hatching, the larva escapes the egg after five days. Subsequently, the nymph casts off the hair triple between seven to nine days. As they continue developing, the young adult emerges and gradually becomes mature over four days. Afterward, the cycle is repetitive.
