As per the chart, both sexes had their lowest passing rate recorded in 1980 with merely 30% and 50% for males and females, respectively. However, in the next ten years, the number of men passing their driving test saw a 10% increase, whereas women's only saw a slight growth in the vicinity of 5%.
Noticeably, in a ten-year period from 1990 to 2000, the growth of men is approximately 105 while women's doubled. Additionally, the driving-test passing rate of women reached its peak, nearly crossing the 70% mark by 2000. Nevertheless, the trend is different for the last year of the period as fewer females getting their driving license and the rate of males reached a plateau of negligibly 50%.
