types of Spreads consumption from 1981 to 2007
The Line graph depicts the percentage of grams of spreads consumption from 1981 to 2007. the types of spreads are margarine, Low fat&reduced spreads, and butter.
According to the graph, it is clear that in 1981, butter is the highest in consumption. However, from 1986 the percentage of consumption steadily decreased. on the other hand, low fat &reduced spreads were only
started in 1986 and immediately rose up to more than 80 percent within 5 years and then gradually it went down. Whereas the margarine consumption started in 19 from the percentage of 80 to 100 grams and sees a few ups and down till 2001 then it started to fall a bit.
to sum up this graph, in 2007 the most consumed spread is low fat &reduced spreads, even though it is introduced in the late 1900s.In addition, the butter had the highest peak in the early 1900s but gradually reduced but still higher than the margarine
