The picture depicts how salmon is undergoing a development process to completely formed of the large salmon.
Overall, it can be seen that the salmon covers a span of three main stages with its difference between the growth of salmon, from fry to smolt and ending with adults where they are living in both water.
Starting with the upper river, salmon laid out eggs where the water moves slowly are. During the period of approximately from 5 to 6 months, the spawning fish are placed into the reeds or small tones. After that, the eggs are hatched into fry fish with a length of 3 to 8 cm and living in the lower river where is flowing fast over the 4-years which are now 12 -15c cm in length.
In the next stages, the smolt after is moving further downriver into the open sea, then they settled down in there for 5 years roughly. Eventually, the salmon attains to its full size of 70 – 76 cm. Following this, the adult salmon will be turning back to the place where its spawn and dying out later.
