The line graph illustrates the broadcast for the quantity of students who decided to learn three main languages in the world from 2020 to 2030, such as: English, Spanish, and Mandarin.
It is clear that the number of English learners is far outweighed other languages. Overall, English will have the highest number of learners while the quantity of learners of Spanish will lowest, and Mandarin will be seen the second number of students.
In 2020, the quantity of people who learn Mandarin stood at 100 million, whereas the figure for Spanish and English were over 200 million and 550 million, respectively. After that, Mandarin learners and Spanish learners will increase considerably and reach the same figure at 350 million in the next six years. At that time, there will a steady rise in the number of citizens who study English by around 150 million before decreasing slightly in the following year with over 600 million.
By 2026, the number of students of English will stable go up and is estimated that it will reach over 700 million in 2030. Besides, Mandarin and Spanish will increase remarkably until 2030. However, the pace of increase of Mandarin is higher than Spanish during the whole period by around 230 million and 150 million, respectively.
