The line chart gives information about the amount of money spent on books in four different countries Germany, France, Italy and Austria during period the time from 1995 to 2005.
Overall, what stands out from the chart is that there was an upward trend in the money used for books in France and Austria and a fluctuated trend in that of Germany and Italy.
The first obvious feature from the chart is that in 1995, the amount of money spent on books in Germany and France were high about 80 and 50 million dollars respectively while/whereas the data of Italy and Austria were shorter than two countries below.
From 1999 to 2003, people used money for books in Germany decreased slightly. In France, Italy, Austria, the amount of money spent on books rose remarkably by 10, 10 and 20 million dollars respectively in the same period. In 2005, people used money for books in four countries went up versus period before, especially the figure for Austria jumped dramatically by 40 million dollars.
