The diagram shows how a successful international transaction works from an ATM (automated teller machine). Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The diagram illustrated one successful overseas transaction work from an ATM, which is also known as an automated teller machine. This process has six stages, with the contribution of three main factors: the local bank, the customer’s home bank and the network between them.
Firstly, when a customer uses a card or enters a PIN code at their local bank, a message will be sent to the network, which is a settlement provided between the two banks. Once received the signal, the network will send another message to the customer’s bank in their home country, indicating that there are enough funds in the account.
Debited money from the customer’s account in the home bank will then be assessed. Next, the network will receive an “OK” message, which means that the money in the home account is durable. Finally, the network will readdress the designated money and transfer the given funds to the customer’s local bank
