Given the information in the text, the United Kingdom (Britain) includes many historical period like Stone age, Bronze age and etc. Also Britainian try to do many archaeological activities which runs into several problems that is mentioned in following essay. However the lecturer finds all the problems dubious and presents some evidence to refute them all.
First of all, the author argues that increasing Britain's population causes of building lots of constructions and houses which are destroyed plenty of valuable artifacts. In contrast, the professor dismisses this issue due to the fact that government enacts a rule that imposes to the builders to examine the sites for finding historical objects which they want to make a structure before any actions.
Furthermore, the reading passage holds the view that there is lake of financial support for excavations and archaeologists' activities and it is because of assigning the budget to other projects by government. On the contrary, the speaker brings up the idea that government obligates contractors to pay for making up the financial shortage that archaeologists are able to continue to their work.
Finally, the reading asserts that there are no more career archaeology position and people who like this field must contribute to that only as unpaid amateurs. Conversely, the lecturer underlines the fact that government accepts to allocate more budget to several aspects of the field like researching and doing process data and reports.
